Patna: A Facebook friendship with a girl landed a Gardanibagh, Patna, youth in trouble as he was killed by her other friendsl. Shubham, son of an employee of education department in the state secretariat, was called by his Facebook friend, a girl from Bikram in Patna district on July 8. Since then he was missing and did not return his home here.His father met the senior SP of Patna Manu Maharaaj on Sunday evening and informed him about the incident.
Bikram police on Monday arrested three youths: Satyam, Alok and Pintu, all from Bikram .The three youths had kidnapped Shubham in an auto and killed him on July 8 night itself and had reportedly thrown his body into Sone river.
Shubham’s body was recovered on Monday. The girl told the police Shubham did meet her on Friday.She claimed their friendship developed through Facebook.
