Ex AO Champion Petr Korda’s son Sebastian win AO Boys title

Patna : Twenty years after his father Petr Korda, 50, of Czech Republic won the Australian Open (AO) championship, Sebastian Korda, 17, won the Boys’ singles title at the Australian Open 2018 at Melbourne Park. Petr Kora is now settled in Florida, USA. Sebastian defeated Chinese Taipei’s Chun Hsin Tseng in the Boys’ single final 7-6, 6-4 to win the title on January 27, 2018.

Petr had won the AO men’s singles title in 1998, his only grand Slam singles title. Sebastian’s mother Regina Rajchrtova is also a former top tennis player while his two sisters are golf players. In fact, Sebastian’s elder sister Jessica Korda had also won her first golf title in Australia in 2012 when she was 18.
