Patna : England beat Pakistan by 3 wickets in the 4th ODI at Trent Bridge, Notingham, UK,  on May 17, 2019, late night, with opener Jason Roy scoring 114 in 89 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes, his 8th ODI ton, and all-rounder Ben Stokes scoring an unbeaten 71 in 64 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Fast bowler Tom Curran, who had taken 4/75 in Pakistan innings, scored 31 in 30 balls with 5 fours.

England scored 341/7 in 49.3 overs while Pakistan had scored 340/7 in 50 overs. England have taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match ODI series with one match left. Jason Roy was declared Player of the Match. Captain and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler fell to Imad Wasim for zero while Moeen Ali fell to Shoaib Malik for zero.
