Encroachments on MJK Hospital, Bettiah, to be removed: DM

Bagaha” West Champaran DM Lokesh kumar Singh on Thusday held a review meeting at Vikas Bhavan, Bettiah, and announced that all encroachments on the land of MJK district hospital cum Medical college, Bettiah, will be removed shortly.The DM said that several  medical shops and residences have come up on the encroached land.

A committee of four personscomprising principal, medical college, Bettiah, district hospital superintendent,LRDC  and circle officer, Bettiah, has been constituted which will submit its report by August 13 suggesting ways to remove the encroachment. The DM said that the circle officer will serve notice to encroachers giving them 14 days’ time to remove  the encroachment.

The DM said that reports have come Bairia, Laukaria, Jogapatti and Majhaulia that health centres premises have been encroached upon by some private persons. These encroachments will be removed, he said.
