Sitamarhi : Four unidentified motorbike borne criminals shot dead Vilas Shah, 90, a resident of village Gaura under Nanpur police station in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar, on December 27, 2020, morning.
Vikas Sjah, a farmer, was taking tea at the varandah of his house in the morning when the the criminals reached there and fired a few rounds on him and sped away. The villagers chased them but in vain. The villagers said that the murder was fallout of a protracted land deal related to 15 decimal land at the village. Nanpur police are camping at the village but are yet to arrest any assailant in this connection.
Bajpatti RJD MLA Mukesh Kumar Yadav denounced the deteriorating law and order in the district and demanded immediate action against the killers.
