Patna : Third seed Egor Gerasimov, 27, Belarus, and unseeded Jiri Vesely, 26, Czech Republic, will clash in the final of Tata Open Maharashtra, an ATP World Tour 250 event, at Pune, Maharashtra, India, on February 9, 2020.

World No 90 Egor Gerasimov beat 6th seed James Duckworth, 28, Australia, 7-6, 6-4 in second semi-finals on February 8, 2020. Gerasimov fired 13 Aces in the match to 4 by the Australian. He also won a break point. Gerasimov also won 3 games in a row in the match. He won 51 service points to 49 by Duckworth, the World No 96.

Jiri Vesely beat 2nd seed Ricardas Berankis, 29, Lithuania, in a three-set marathon 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 in first semi-finals coming from behind with all the three sets going to tie-break. Vesely hammered 28 Aces in the match to 3 by World No 69 Berankis. The Czech committed 7 double faults to 8 by the Lithuanian. Both the players won 3 break points each in the match. Both of them also won 2 games each in a row in the match.
