Patna : Second seed James Duckworth, 27, Australia, beat 5th seed Jay Clarke, 21, UK, in a tough three set in the final to win the ATP Pune Challenger singles title on November 17, 2019. World No 111 Duckworth beat World No 170 Clarke 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the final battling back from one set down.
Duclworth secured 80 ATP rankings points plus cash prize for winning the title. Clarke got 48 ATP rankings points plus cash prize for finish as runner-up. Duckworth had defeated 6th seed Ramkumar Ramnathan, 25, India, the World No 190, in the semi-finals.
