Gopalganj: Primary Health Centre (PHC), Barauli, medical in-charge Dr Vijay Paswan on December 17 lodged an FIR with Barauli police station against the director of a private school accusing him of making murderous attack on him. Dr Paswan alleged that the director tried to murder him by strangulating him inside the PHC. On getting information, Barauli ps SHO Chandrika Prasad reached the PHC and started investigation into the case.

Dr Paswan, in his complaint, alleged that school director reached PHC on Saturday morning and used abusive language against him. He further alleged that when he tried to oppose the director, the latter assaulted and tried to strangulate him. “I was saved by some of the PHC employees,” he  claimed adding that working at the PHC was disturbed for some time due to the incident.

However,  school director Ramayan Singh also lodged a written complaint with the local police station complaining that the garbage of the hospital was being dumped on school campus and one of his student sustained injuries as some pieces of glass were also in the garbage. “When I reached PHC and complained about it to the  medical in-charge, he abused me and assaulted him,” alleged the school director.

Barauli ps SHO Chandrika Prasad said that both sides have lodged complaints against each other. Action would be taken only after the investigation into the allegations is over, he added.
