200 bottles of IMFL liquor seized in Gopalganj

Gopalganj: Kuchaikot police during vehicle checking on December 17 seized 400 bottles of liquor including local and IMFL and also arrested one person in this connection at Pakri Chouraha. Police team was led by sub-inspector (SI) Dhananjay Kumar. Police said that the arrested person was identified as Pankaj Kumar Soni, a native of Meerganj in nioGopalganj district, and he was bringing liquor bottles from Uttar Pradesh with one of his associates on a bike. The seizure included n200 bottles of countrymade liquor in the brand name of Jhoom, and 200 bottles of IMFL. Soni’s associate, however, managed to escape seeing the vehicle checking. The arrested person was forwarded to judicial custody.
