DM unhappy with progress of ODF campaign in Muzaffarpur dist

Muzaffarpur : With a view to making Muzaffarpur district Open Defecation Free (ODF), a workshop cum orientation programme was organised at the Conference Hall of District Board, Muzaffarpur, on November 3, 2017. CEO, Jeevika, Bala Murugan D, and Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh inaugurated the workshop. The DM welcomed the Jeevika CEO Bala Murugan D at the workshop. Muzaffarpur Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Shailja Sharma was also present.

DM Dharmendra Singh while addressing the Block Development Officers (BDOs), Child Development Programme Officers (CDPOs), Block Education Officers (BEOs), Jeevika personnel and other officials said that Muzaffarpur district had not attained desired success under Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan during the past two years. Muzaffarpur district figures among the last five districts in the country in the ODF campaign, the DM said. State level trainer Rajiv Kumar was also present on the occasion.
