Death toll in Buxar accident increases to 2

Buxar : With the death of Mithi Kumari, 8, daughter of Hari Bhushan Rai, at a Trauma centre at Varanasi in UP, the death toll in an accident that had occurred on May 26, 2018, on Dumraon-Koransarai main road in Buxar district, increased to two. The owner of vehicle Sitaram Rai of Rambag in Buxar district had died on spot.

About half a dozen school children were returning from Gaya on a Bolero after attending a Yoga Camp there on May 26. When the vehicle reached near Dumraon on Dumraon-Koransarai main road, the driver lost control on the steering and the vehicle dashed against a tree on the roadside in which the owner cum driver Sitaram Rai died on spot while all the children besides Hari Bhushan Rai, father of Mithi Kumari, her sister, Aradhaya, coaching centre owner Pradeep Pathak alias Sonu of Gheuria, Deepak Rai, son of Gorakh Rai, Shiva Kumari, daughter of Jai Shankar Rai, were injured.
