Death of boy in accident triggers protest in Bhojpur

Ara: Hundreds of villagers blocked Ara-Sahar main road near village Kaira Bazaar  under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district for about four hours since morning after a teenage boy was crushed to death by a speeding truck on Saturday. They were  demanding seizure of the truck, arrest of the driver and compensation to the family of the deceased. SHO Sahar police station said that Manish Kumar, 17, son of Jhapas Ram, was going on his motorcycle and when he reached near Khaira Bazaar his motorcycle collided head on with a speeding truck. He  and was killed on spot. The blockade was lifted after positive assurance rom f the police officials. Later, the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for post-Smortem.
