Patna : More than 70 percent of the candidates who cleared the online entrance test have already been admitted to different undergraduate and post-graduate courses of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB).

The process of admission of students to as many as 38 academic programmes both at undergraduate and post-graduate level commenced on Monday. On Wednesday and Thursday, CUSB declared the second list for admission against the remaining vacant seats and the candidates have been called for admission on Friday, said CUSB PRO Md Mudassir Alam. All the admission formalities for various courses will be completed by June 20, he said.

As many as 5,500 candidates had applied for admission to the UG and PG courses against 810 seats in altogether 38 courses. The online entrance test was conducted at different centres across the country in the last week of May and the results of online test were declared in the first week of June.

CUSB is admitting students to its various courses , including four undergraduate programmes, 18 postgraduate programmes and 16 PhD programmes. The courses include  four-year integrated BA BEd and BSc BEd,  five-year integrated BA LLB (Hons) and B Voc (arts and crafts) and PG and PhD programmes like  Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Life Science, Environmental Science, Education, Psychology, English, Hindi, Law, Communication and Media Studies, Computer Science (both M.Sc & M.Tech), Mathematics, Statistics, Development Studies, Economics, Political Science and International Relations and Sociology.
