Bagaha : Six Crocodiles have created panic in and around Mangalpur, Malakauli and Pathakauli localities under Bagaha Nagar Parishad in West Champaran district for the last one week. Sources said that the Crocodiles come out of river Gandak during night and enter residential premises. Villagers are spending sleepless night guarding their houses.
SDM, Bagaha, Dhamendra Kumar has intimated Valmiki Tiger Reserve ( VTR) officials about it and asked them to tame the crocodiles besides taking preventive measures. Madanpur Forests Range Officer Anand Kumar said that one Crocodile had been tamed so far and thrown deep into river Gandak.
