Muzaffarpur: Two bike borne criminals shot dead an employee of Om Travels Sanjay Singh and injured another employee Firoz near a Masjid in Bhagwanpur area on NH 28 under Sadar polce station, Muzaffarpur, when they were on way to their employer LallanSingh’s house carrying about Rs 1 lakh cash in a bag.
Sanjay and Firoz resisted the criminals when they tried to loot the bag from them. In fact, Firoz had even caught one of the criminals after which another criminals fired at them killing Sanjay on the spot. The criminals, however, could not loot the cash as during scuffle the cash spilled over the road. The criminals escaped from the place of occurrence leaving their bike behind. A seriously injured Firoz was admitted to private Prashant hospital. Police seized the bike of criminals and are investigating into the incident.
