Criminals shot at owner of CSP, Allahabad Bank, in Sitamarhi, loot Rs 4.27 lakh

Sitamarhi : Two unidentified bike borne criminals looted Rs 4.27 lakh cash from Matiar Kala village Customer Service Point (CSP), Allahabad Bank, owner Krishna Kumar near village Chiraia under Sahiyara police station in Sitamarhi district on July 3, 2019, evening. The criminals shot at and seriously injured Krishna Kumar when he resisted them.

Two armed bike borne criminals looted cash from Krishna Kumar when he was returning to village Matiar Kala after drawing money from Bhutahi Branch of Allahabad Bank. Krishna Kumar sustained bullet injury when he resisted the criminals and had scuffle with them. He was admitted to a private hospital at Muzaffarpur in serious condition. The criminals sped away towards Sitamarhi firing a few shots in the air also to terrorise the people.
Sadar SDPO K V Dhirendra has visited the place of occurrence, about 20 km away from Sitamarhi town, but police are yet to make any breakthrough in the case.
