Criminals loot Rs 56,000 from petrol pump in E Champaran

Motihari : Six bike borne armed criminals looted Rs 56,000 cash from a Reliance Petrol Pump located at village Harpurnag under Chakia police station in East Champaran district on October 24, 2017, after assaulting the petrol pump employees. The criminals also fired in the air to terrorise them and escaped with cash after their operation. Police are yet to make any breakthrough in the incident though they are trying to identify and locate the six criminals.

Constable dies : Meanwhile, a Constable posted at Areraj Police Outpost in East Champaran district who had shot himself on October 23, 2017, in an apparent attempt to commit suicide, succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital at Patna on October 24.
