Aurangabad: Criminals looted Rs 1.5 lakh cash from one Mukhesh Kumar,  resident of Haspura under the same Police Station in Aurangabad district, at gun point in broad daylight on Tuesday. The incident occurred when Kumar was engaged in his work at Daudnagar-Haspura Road.

Mukesh is a controller of Public service centre (PSU). He was doing work at  his office when three criminals reached Rs  his shop and snatched a bag containing Rs 1.50 lakh from him. When Mukesh resisted them, they made him captive at  gun point and escaped after the cash.

On getting information, a team of Haspura Police Station Police Station rushed to the spot and gathered information  from the locals. SHO Arun Kumar said prima facie it seems that the loot was pre-planned. However, police are looking into the matter from all angles and raids are being carried out at the suspected hideouts to nab the criminals, the SHO said.
