Patna: Bihar cabinet on Tuesday sanctioned Rs 754 crore for flood relief measures.The cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nitish Kumar approved 19 items on the agenda. It sanctioned Rs 35.52 crore as grants to Bihar Adminstrative Reforms Mission Society. Under the central Food security Act mission, the state government decided to release Rs 101 crore for rice, wheat and pulses and Rs  13 crore for seeds.
For making Bhagalpur a smart city, the cabinet sanctioned Rs 463.21 crores to Bhagalpur smart city limited company.
For constrction of multi-storey residential flats at Adalatganj  for the officers and employees of Patna High Court,Rs 82 crore was sanctioned.
The cabinet also approved two proposals for dismissal of  resident surgeon of Nalanda Medical College Hospital Dr Sanjeev Kumar Sinha for his unauthorised absence for more than five years. The government also dismissal the then executive officer of Narkatiyaganj Nagar Panchayat Binod Kumar.
