Buxar : Police recovered bodies of a businessman Sanjay Singh and his wife Seema Singh and brought them to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on July 8, 2017. Later, Buxar police handed over the bodies to Nokha Police as the incident was related to Rohtas district.
SHO, Nokha police station, said that Sanjay Singh and Seema Singh were residents of Madhubani district and were going to New Delhi by their personal car to meet his son on July 7, 2017. When they reached near Zakhani mor under Nokha police station, the driver lost control over the steering and the car capsized into a canal. Body of Seema Singh was trapped inside the car while that of Sanjay Singh drifted in the current of water but stuck into a bush near Kauwakhonch bridge on Buxar-Rohtas border.
SHO, Dhansoi police station, Narendra Kumar Sinha said that on the information of farmers working in the field who noticed a body, police recovered body of Seema Singh from the car while of Sanjay Singh from the bush though the driver of the car escaped death and fled away.
