Contractor lodges FIR against 4 persons

Ara : A contractor Sandeep Kumar lodged a named FIR with  Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district on February 15, 2019, against four persons : Appu Singh, Rowdy Singh, Ram Babu Singh, and Om Singh, in connection with scuffle, skirmish, and mayhem during a tender at Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) on February 13, 2019. The contractor was injured in the incident.

SHO, Ara Town police station, said that lottery was drawn on February 13 for a tender at Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC)  but later the process was cancelled due to some irregularities. In the meantime, four persons entered the chamber of Mayor, Priyam Devi, where contractor Sandeep Kumar of Maruti Nagar locality under Ara Town police station was sitting. The named accused abused and thrashed Sandeep Kumar and injured him at pistol point and escaped.
