Constable detained at Ara for creating nuisance in drunken state

Ara: Bhojpur police detained a police constable Bagish Kumar Ojha near Ara railway station under Nawada police station on Monday evening when he was creating nuisance in the area in a drunken state and also seized a regular rifle and four live cartridges from his possession. Police also informed the police headquarters at Patna about it.

SHO, Nawada police station, Sanjay Shankar said that Bagish Kumar Ojha is posted at Pirbahore Police Station at  Patna. He was returning to his native village with his service rifle after completing his election duty. On way, he took liquor and created nuisance near Ara railway station area spinning his service rifle. After getting information about it, Nawada police detained him at the police station. The SHO said the constable was issued 40 round of cartridges for election duty but only four live cartridges could be recovered from his possession.
