Bagaha: Students of Baba Bhutnath Degree College, Ausani, under Bagaha-2 block in West Champaran district  blocked NH 28(b) near the college and paralysed traffic between Bagaha-Tribeni as well as Harnatard road for hours on Friday. They were protesting against college management for collecting arbitrary registration and miscellaneous fees from the students.

Bagaha-2 block BDO Ashok Kumar and Pathakauli police reached the spot. The blockade was lifted on the assurance of the college management that extra money realised from the students will be refunded. Sources said that the college management was realising Rs 800 as registration and miscellaneous free from the students instead Rs 350. Kishori Prasad, officiating principal of the college, assured the students before the BDO to refund the additional amount collected from them. The BDO said that an FIR will lodge against the college management in this connection.
