Ara : Bhojpur police on March 31, 2019, arrested one Manish Kumar of Begampur locality under Ara Town Police station for allegedly outraging modesty of a teenage girl.
SHO, Ara Town Police Station, said that Manish Kumar, a BA part II student, fell in love with a class VIII student of Meerachak under Ara Town police station and kept on outraging her modesty with a promise to marry her. Manish Kumar also called her on march 30, 2019, evening, and outraged her modesty once again and when she put pressure on him marry her, he flatly refused and dragged her out of the house. The girl lodged a named FIR with Ara Town police station against Manish Kumar in this connection and police arrested him.
Police also brought the girl to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will produce her before Ara Civil Court on April 1, 2019, to get her statement registered under Section 164 of CrPC
