Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Thursday appealed to the people staying in the hilly colonies of Gaya  to move to safer places as landslides were apprehended. He made the appeal through the public address system during his brief stay at Gaya. The CM went to the areas affected by landslides due to heavy rains and instructed the officials to provide relief to the affected families. He directed the Director General, Homeguards and Civil defence, to ensure safety of the people of the flood hit areas. The CM said samples of the stones of the hills would be sent to the Army by Disaster management department for study.
