Class XI student found dead at his rented house

Patna: A Class XI student Avinish Kumar (16) was found dead in the toilet under mysterious circumstances on December 21 at his rented house on Road number-9, Chandmari, under Kankerbagh police station. Police said that Avinish, a native of Saran district, was staying here at a rented house for the past two years and was preparing for different competitive examinations.

The deceased’s uncle Ajay Yadav said that Avinish’s room partner informed the family members at Saran about his death at around 3 pm on Wednesday. Avinash’s father Rameshwar Prasad Rai, who reached Patna after getting the information, alleged that his son had been murdered.

When contacted, Kankerbagh police station SHO Suresh Prasad, who claimed that he had recently joined as new SHO, said that the family members have not submitted any complaint in this regard. He said that they are still at a nursing home where the deceased’s body has been kept.
