Class IX girl kidnapped by youth in Rohtas

Sasaram : A class IX girl student was kidnapped by a youth from New Gangoli area under Dalmianagar police station in Rohtas district on May 2 with a view to marry her. A named FIR was  lodged with Dalmianagar police station against Ranjan Kumar of the same area on May 9, 2017, but neither the girl has been recovered nor the kidnapper been arrested so far.

SHO, Dalmianagar police station, said that the fifteen year old girl, a class IX student, had gone to her school on May 2 but did not return home till late evening. They searched for her but could not locate her. Meanwhile, they came to know that Ranjan Kumar of the same area had taken the girl with him on a motorcycle. The family members of the girl went to Ranjan’s house but his father shooed them away.
