Bokaro: The CISF was on Thursday also assigned the task of providing security to Bokaro General Hospital (BGH). With  1,491 cops under its fold, the CISF was till date providing security cover to security  to moveable and immovable property besides staffs  working  on 64 sq. km wide campus of Bokaro steel plant (BSL).

With several incidents of violence taking place on Bokaro general hospital campus in recent days, Bokaro SP Y S Ramesh had personally asked Bokaro steel plant management for deployment  of CISF few days back which was accepted and on Thursday. The BSL decided to deploy CISF for strengthening the security arrangements at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH).

The new arrangement was launched on Thursday by director  of BGH  Dr AM Kekre and Commandant (CISF) RC Choudhary in the presence of Director Dr GN Sahoo, Dr KN Thakur besides  senior doctors of BGH and CISF officials. The BSL had till date had deployed Homeguards to take care of security of BGH, one of the biggest hospital of eastern zone with  1,104 beds. ISF sources informed that the deployment of CISF at BGH will be made  in a phased manner at  strategic locations  wherere security is needed more . The  CISF Control Room is located  near  casualty ward.
