Patna : Chief Engineer, Gopalganj, Murlidhar Singh, and five Executive Engineers of Water Resources Department (WRD), Bihar Government, were found absent from their respective places of posting during random mobile phone tracking by Joint Secretary, WRD, Gorakhnath, on January 3, 2019.
The five Executive Engineers found absent during random mobile tracking on January 3, 2019, are : Shahnawaj Ansari, EE, Irrigation Division, Nawanagar, Nawal Kishore Singh, EE, Drainage Circle, Siwan, Nagendra Rai, EE, Flood Control Division, Jhanjharpur, Harekrishna Prasad, EE, Flood Control Division, Siwan, and Ramesh Kumar, EE, Flood Control Division, Bhagalpur.
Mobile phones of several other engineers including Superintending Engineer, Mechanical Circle, Muzaffarpur, Krishna Kant Verma, EE, Ganga Pump Canal Division, Kahalgaon, Anil Kumar Mandal, EE, Irrigation Division, Bijikhorba, Dwijendra Kumar Mishra, EE, Irrigation Division, Jamui, Shabbir Ahmad, EE, Irrigation Division, Uderasthan, Arvind Kumar, EE, Irrigation Division, Sheikhpura, Arvind Prasad, EE, one Canal Division, Buxar, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, EE, Flood Control & Drainage, Gaya, Uday Kumar, were found switched off, according to a WRD release. Joint Secretary, Gorakhnath, has forwarded the matter to Additional Secretary ( Vigilance), Jiut Singh.
