Chancellor stops 11 VCs from taking any policy decision

Patna: Governor cum Chancellor Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday directed all the vice-chancellors (VCs), whose tenure was to end in near future, not to take any policy decision. It may be mentioned here that the process of  appointment of 11 such VCs has begun.

In the light of Governor cum Chancellor’s directive, Principal Secretary to the governor, has asked all such VCs to neither take any policy decision nor make any appointment and transfer. The Principal Secretary to the governor, in his letter addressed to the VCs, has informed them the Chancellor had also stopped them from taking any financial decision.
