Patna: All the 1,056 police stations under 40 police districts and 14 railway police districts will have CCTVs installed in the lock-ups and office of the officer incharge. Bihar cabinet at its meeting held here o Tuesday sanctioned Rs 282.25 crores for installation of CCTVs at police stations.

Brajesh Mehrotra, Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat department, said the cabinet also decided to dissolve the Centre for Good Governance set up on November 22,2011.The Centre was headed by a retired chief secretary with its office on Bailey Road. Bihar Transformative Project (Jeevika II) will be launched in 300 blocks of the state, the cabinet decided. In all, cabinet gave approval to 22 items on the agenda.
