Patna : World No 9 Saina Nehwal, India, crashed out of Fuzhou China Open, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750 event at Fuzhou, China, losing her first round match to World No 22 Cai Yan Yan, China, on November 6, 2019.
Cai Yan Yan upset 8th seed Saina 21-9, 21-12 in first round in 24 minutes at Haixia Olympic Sports Centre, Fuzhou. World Champion P V Sindhu, India, had also lost in the first round on November 5, 2019. Both Sindhu and Saina have made early exit in five tournaments in a row including China, Korea, Denmark, French, and Fuzhou Open.
