Buxar dist chief of Qaumi Ekta Dal Rinku Yadav arrested on murder charge

Buxar: Police arrested Buxar district president, Qaumi Ekta Dal, Rinku Yadav on September 2, 2016 in connection with murder of an agent of bus stand Harendra Singh on the revelation of Santosh Paswan. Kaumi Ekta Dal has been founded by Mukhtar Ansari of Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. Police had earlier arrested Santosh Paswan, Ramashish Rajwar, Jai Ram Paswan and one more person in this connection.

Some armed miscreants had shot dead Harendra Singh, an agent of bus stand, in Sonhapatti locality under Town police station on August 22, 2016. An FIR had been lodged with Town Police Station on the statement of the wife of the deceased Indu Singh. The reason behind the murder came to light after the police arrested a miscreant carrying a reward of Rs. 50,000 on his head, Santosh Paswan, on September 1 alegedly who confessed that he had killed Harendra Singh at the behest of Rinku Yadav.

Santosh Paswan revealed before police that Harendra Singh along with the district president Qaumi Ekta Dal, Rinku Yadav, dealt in land business. Rinku Yadav had borrowed Rs 20 lakh from Harendra Singh to give it to Madan Paswan for contesting election of mukhia this year but Madan Paswan lost the election. Harendra Singh was putting pressure on Rinku Yadav and Madan Paswan to return his money. Agitated over it, Rinku Yadav and Madan Paswan contacted Santosh Paswan and asked him to kill Harendra Singh and gave Rs 1 lakh cash to him in advance.
