Ara : Buxar Fast Track Court I Judge, Arun Kumar Srivastava, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment five persons in a murder and loot case on July 25, 2017. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 50,000 on each of them.
Prabhat Kesar alias Babaloo, son of Dwarika Prasad Kesari of New Chowk Shivchandra Mandir lane under Buxar town police station in Buxar district, was returning from Balia Bazaar at about 11 pm on July 10,2016, after collecting money from his customers. When he reached near his residence, some miscreants attacked him with dagger and iron rod and injured him. The locals took him to the Buxar Sadar Hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.
A named FIR was lodged with Buxar Town police station against Krishna Kumar Jaiswal, Sheru Kumar Jaiswal, Sitabi Jaiswal, Mantu Jaiswal alias Raj Kumar, Bhola Kumar Jaiswal and Suresh Prasad Jaiswal. But the court transferred Bhola Kumar Jaiswal to the juvenile court as he was minor.
After hearing both the parties the court awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Krishna Kumar Jaiswal, Sheru Kumar Jaiswal, Sitabi Jaiswal, Mantu Jaiswal alias Raj Kumar and Suresh Prasad Jaiswal.
