Buxar : Additional District and Sessions Judge VI, Buxar Civil Court, Uday Kumar Upadhayay, on November 25, 2017, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment two persons:  Tunna Chaudhary and Baban Chaudhary, and also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 on each of them for killing a three year old boy in 2015.

The court also awarded five year rigorous imprisonment to Sukari Devi and Sunita Devi and slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on each of them in the same case. It also sentenced to one year rigorous imprisonment to Rajendra Chaudhary and Ashok Chaudhary and slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on each of them for the same reason.

Jyoti Kumar, 3, son of Mangal Chaudhayr was playing outside of his house at village Narandih  under Sikraul police station in Buxar district when he was kidnapped and killed in 2015. Police found his body next day on the outskirts of the village. Later, police lodged a named FIR against Tunna Chaudhary, Baban Chaudhary, Sunita Devi, Sukari Devi, Rajendra Chaudhary and Ashok Chaudhary in  connection with murder of the boy.

After hearing both the parties, the court held all of them guilty for the brutal murder of a minor boy and pronounced quantum of punishment.
