Buxar court convicts former Mukhia in murder case

Buxar :  Additional District and Sessions Judge VI, Buxar Civil Court, Suman Kumar Singh, on August 30, 2018, convicted a former mukhia Suresh Kumar Yadav alias Langa Yadav, in a case of murder of a Rice Miller and Hotel owner Ranjeet Rai. The court acquitted other 10 accused in the case for want of evidence. The court fixed August 31, 2018, to pronounce quantum of punishment.

Rice Miller and Hotel owner Ranjeet Rai was shot dead on November 1, 2011, and a former mukhia Suresh Kumar Yadav alias Langa Yadav and 10 others were made named accused in this murder case. The court after hearing both the parties acquitted 10 accused for want of evidence against them but convicted Suresh Kumar Yadav in the case and fixed August 31, 2018, for pronouncing quantum of punishment.
