Buxar : Some unidentified criminals threw acid on a businessman Ashwini Kumar Gupta at Jason Road roundabout under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district on Novemver 18, 2017, morning, and escaped unchallenged. The businessman sustained serious burn injury in the incident.
The locals immediately rushed him to a private nursing home. The doctors there referred him to Varanasi after initial treatment. SHO, Buxar Muffassil police station, Aditya Kumar, said that Ashwini Kumar Gupta of Balia in UP runs a business of making sweets packets at Jason Road roundabout. On November 18 morning, Ashwini Kumar Gupta was going to market to purchase eggs when some unidentified criminals threw acid on him and escaped. The SHO said that police were searching for the miscreants.
