Patna : Replying to India’ 172 runs in the first innings, Sri Lanka were 165/4 at stumps on the third day of the first test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on November 18, 2017, with N Dickwella on 14 and Captain Dinesh Chandimal on 13 on the crease. Former Sri Lanka captain A Mathews scored 52 while L Thirimanne made 51 runs. For India, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar took 2/49 while UmeshYadav took 2/50 runs. Mohd Shami, R Ashwin and R Jadeja failed to get any wicket.
