BSNL Technician shot dead by 2 bike borne criminals at Samastipur village

Samastipur : Chaudhary Abhay Singh, 45, a BSNL Technician, was shot dead by two bike borne criminals at village Partarpur under Kalyanpur Police Station in Samastipur District in North Bihar on October 7, 2019, evening, when he was walking at the door of his rented house and his family members were preparing to celebrate the birthday of his grand-son. He was a native of Karpoorigram under Mufassil Police Station, Samastipur.

The family members rushed outside the house located near Partarpur Thakurbadi Chowk after hearing the found of firing. They rushed Chaudhary Abhay Singh to Sadar Hospital, Samastipur, where the doctors declared him brought dead. Land dispute is allegedly the reason behind his murder. Chadhary Abhay Singh’s brother was also shot dead two year back. Police are yet to make any breakthrough in the case.
