Muzaffarpur: Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRBU), Muzaffarpur, has not held election of students union for the last 34 years . Earlier, after meeting of Senate, the university had announced to hold students’ union election in July, 2016.u But, VC Dr Pandit Pallande has remained silent over the issue since then.

Student leaders Muna Yadav and Sanket Mishra said that the university has been only making false promises to hold the election for the past false 34 years but not doing anything to hold the poll. Student leader Sarvesh Singh said anarchy prevails in the university. The students are now planning to resort to agitation to press their demand for union election. Meanwhile, results of about 10,000 students of BA/BSc part II and  III are still pending.
