Ara: A teenage girl and her boyfriend were arrested from Dadar Express train at Ara railway station on Thursday evening. Akhilesh Kumar, with the help of his friend Manoj Kumar, lured a teenage girl Rani (name changed) of village Tesara under Rajpur police station in Buxar district. The trio boarded Dadar Express at Buxar railway station on Thursday evening.
Akhilesh Kumar was taking the girl to Assam. But they were unaware that a woman sitting beside them was a constable in the CRPF who was overhearing their chat and got suspicions. She immediately informed the escort party of the RPF. In the meantime, the train had reached Ara railway station. The escort party beat up Manoj Kumar when he feigned ignorance. Seeing that Manoj was being beaten up, Akhilesh Kumar disclosed the matter but Manoj slipped and got down from the train at Ara railway station and escaped. Later, the RPF handed over the girl and Akhilesh to the Government railway police (GRP).
