Bhojpur SP suspends SHO of Koelwar PS

Ara: Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh on Thursday suspended the Station House Officer (SHO), Koelwar police station (PS), Sanjay Kumar, for dereliction of duty. Inspector Niyaz Ahamad had complained to the SP that the SHO released a truck driver without lodging an FIR against him. It may be mentioned here that a youth was crushed to death by a speeding truck near Koelwar under Koelwar police station on Ara-Panta main road a few days back and police had arrested the truck driver along with the truck. The SP said the new SHO of the Koelwar police station would be posted very soon.
