Ara : Police recovered a body of a six year old boy Mayank from a pond at village Dekuda  under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district on April 28, 2018, morning, and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Mayank lived with his maternal uncle at village Dekudi for study as his father Laxman Tiwari works at Bokaro. He had gone to play on April 27 evening but did not return home. On April 28 morning, his family members found his body floating in the pond of the village and informed police.

SHO, Charpokhari police station, said that it appears someone killed him and later threw the body into the pond of the village. He said that an FIR has been lodged and police were investigating into the incident.
