Bagaha: The residents of village Pathakauli under Chanpatia police station in West Champaran district in North Bihar were extremely sad as the body of soldier Shivaji Prasad, 28, reached home in a coffin for the last rites on August 10, 2018, morning.
Shivaji Prasad, a soldier of Assam rifles, is survived by his wife, two children: Ayush, 2, and Nidhi Kumari, 3. Deployed for border surveillance, he was killed on August 8, 2018, in a landslides. The body was consigned to flame with national honour. DM, West Champaran, Nilesh Ramchandra Deore, and SP Jayant Kant besides other officials and a large number of people participated in funeral procession and mourned the martyred soldier.
