Patna : Bihar has extended the period of suspension of DIG rank IPS officer Ratnamani Sanjeev till September 13, 2019, following approval of Disciplinary Authority.
Ratnamani Sanjeev, an IPS officer of 2003 batch and the then DIG, Homeguards & Fire Services, was placed under suspension on September 19, 2018, for dereliction of duty, financial irregularities, and insubordination. On the expiry of 60 days on November 17, 2018, Ratnamani Sanjeev’s period of suspension was extended till March 17, 2019. And now it has been extended by another 180 days that is September 13, 2019, in view of on going inquiry into charges against Ratnamani Sanjee, according to a recent Resolution of Home (Police) Department.
