Bihar govt to move SC to challenge bail granted to Rocky Yadav

Patna: Though Bihar government will move the Supreme Court (SC) to challenge the bail granted to Rocky Yadav, main accused in the murder of an 18 year old youth Aditya Sachdeva at Gaya five months back, Aditya’s parents are shocked. Rocky was granted bail by Patna High Court on October 19. His parents: Manorama Devi, JD(U) MLC and Bindi Yadav, were also granted bail last month.

Shyamsundar Sachdeva, a businessman and father of Aditya, said on Thursday he felt disappointed and lost faith in the judicial system. Even CM Nitish Kumar, who had visited the family and promised speedy trial in the case, failed, he said and regretted Rocky was given bail even before trial.
