Buxar : A speeding Scorpio crushed to death a bicycle rider Tinku Ram, UP, on Chausa- Buxar road in Buxar district on December 3, 2017. The irate villagers blocked the road with the body paralysing movement of vehicles for about three hours. They were demanding arrest of the Scorpio driver and compensation to the deceased’s family. The bockade was lifted after positive assurance from police. Later, police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem
SHO, Buxar Muffassil police station, Avinash Kumar, said that Tinku Ram of Nagasar Dildarnagar in Ghazipur district, UP, had come to his relative Kallu Ram in Buxar. On December 3, he was crossing the road on his bicycle when a speeding Scorpio crushed him to death on Chausa- Buxar road. The driver of the vehicle escaped with the vehicle.
