Ara : A woman, mother of two children, who had been missing since February 2, 2017, returned after three months and appeared before Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district on May 31, 2017, and said that no one had kidnapped her and she had escaped from her house on her own. Police produced her before a court to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC and also brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital on June 1 for medical examination.
Rambha Devi, wife of Kamendra Nath of Balbandh under Charpokhari police station, told police that she had two children: Swati and Aryan, but her husband is a drunkard. He always beat her and her children in drunken state. Fed up with frequent quarrel with him, she left her house alone on February 2, 2017, and went to Secunderabad.
Rambha Devi of Rohtas district was married to Kamendra Nath of village Balbandh in Bhojpur district in 2009 and had a daughter and a son with him. She said that she was not willing to live with her husband anymore and needed divorce and had filed a separation suit in the court.
