Ara: With a view to providing fullproof security to banks to prevent incidents of cash loot, Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh held a meeting with the officials of the banks on Friday and apprised them of  several security measures and assured all help to them.

The SP asked them not to be careless in bank security and if required seek police help immediately. The police would come immediately for their security, he said  but warned that if anyone especially the securityguards were found negligent towards security, stern action would be taken against them. The bank guards should remain alert round the clock.

The SP directed the bank officials to install CCTV which shwould remain operative round the clock and also install camera and hooter in the vans that carries money from one bank to another and also open GPS system so that police could monitor the cash vans. He also directed the banks to keep a visitors’ register and ensure entry of each and every visitors and customers and also display important numbers of police and officials concerned on banks so that they could be informed on time, if needed. He also asked the banks to keep a register in the cabin of the branch manager and the patrolling officers during security visit would enter their signature with time and date in it.
