Bhojpur police recover two missing girls from different places, 1 held

Ara : Bhojpur police recovered two teenage girls from different places and arrested one of the kidnappers on December 25, 2019.

Police arrested a teenage girl from Bihia roundabout under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district on December 25 and brought her over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will produce her before an Ara Court on January 2, 2020, when the court opens after winter vacation. A named FIR was lodged with Bahoranpur Police Outpost against Vikas Rai, son of Tarkeshwar Rai, Rakesh Tiwari, and cousin sister of Vikas Rai of Sarangpur village under Bahoranpur Police Outpost in this connection. Police are investigating the matter.

SHO, Bahoranpur Police Outpost, Manish Kumar said that a teenage girl was kidnapped from Sarangpur village in April 2019 when she had gone to attend call of nature in the field. She was kidnapped with a view to marrying her. The SHO said that after institution of FIR, police, on a tip off, recovered the girl from Bihia roundabout.

In another development, police recovered a teenage girl from the house of her maternal parents at village Ummedpur  under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district and arrested one Neeraj Kamkar from Shahpur in this connection and sent him to jail after interrogation. Police brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. An FIR was lodged with Shahpur police station on the statement of the mother of the girl against Neeraj Kamkar.

SHO, Shahpur police station, said that the girl had gone to market along with her mother at Shahpur about 20 days ago when the named accused Neeraj Kamkar of the village kidnapped her from the market with a view of marrying her.
